Knollwood Park Kitchen and Laundry Room Remodel
Our clients wanted to enjoy their home and have it function better for their family. The kitchen was not only tight, but closed in and not conducive to the need for space to function and allow the family to interact during meal time preparation. The kitchen and laundry had also become a glorified hallway between the main house and an addition created by a previous owner. In this part of the design, we opened the kitchen to the dining room and enlarged the opening from the kitchen to the laundry room. This allowed for better access without feeling like going through hallways and spaces that had purpose.
On the other side of the house, both bathrooms were in need of overhauls and the master bathroom needed a larger shower, bigger vanity, and linen storage. Thankfully the master bedroom had space to borrow and we were able to incorporate all of the needs and wants without compromising the feel of the bedroom. We upgraded the boys’ bathroom and incorporated a custom barn door crafted from a family friend!
